Subject: [RBASE-L] - Exporting to Excel with embedded formulae

This may come as no 'surprise' to many but I thought I would mention it just
in case it helps anyone wanting to export data to an Excel file, and create
calculated columns, as it only just occurred to me. (Maybe I am just slow.)

By including a text column in the table which includes Excel formulae, (e.g.
=+A2*B2), when this is exported to an Excel file the calculated columns are
created in the spreadsheet. The format needs to be set in Excel, but at
least the calculated values appear.

By using a view I assume one could include totals etc. for the rows as well.
