With the software updates released yesterday, R:BASE Technologies would
like to
remind all users of the license policy regarding software updates.
R:BASE Technologies software updates are only made available to licensed
users, as
one of the provisions provided to users within their complimentary software
support
terms or with an active R:BASE Software Assurance Plan. The product update
files
are only valid to, and subject for use by, those licensees.
Products updates, or any piece of licensed software, being subject to the
terms
and conditions stated in the license agreement, must not be shared or
offered peer
to peer under any circumstances. Users must also implement and maintain
appropriate
administrative, technical and physical safeguards to prevent the improper
use or
disclosure of licensed software. Individuals who share or redistribute
licensed
software are subject to legal action. Also, login name and passwords for
access to
R:BASE Technologies product updates must not be shared with others.
As you all know how hard you work and how careful you are to keep your
licensed
products up-to-date, we ask users to please keep your licensed products and
updates
away from so-called R:BASE developers who do not keep their own products
up-to-date.
As circumstances have been brought to our attention, this courtesy reminder
and
warning is being passed along.
We want you to protect your interest and investment in R:BASE.
