On a report, I have a number of different objects located in the Page footer section. The first object is a variable memo that I want to stretch as is needed because it can have a multitude of returns in it. (It is used for serial numbers, VIN numbers, etc so we want each on their own line.) I gave it a component ID of RBASEvariable1 I set that object up so Char Wrap and Stretch are checked.
The other objects are labels, variables and shapes. Each one I checked Shift with Parent. It seems like the HELP information said I needed to put these objects in a region so that is what I did. I checked the Keep Together, Shift relative to RABSEvariable1, stretch and transparent on the region. No matter what I do, the variable memo will not expand and the other objects do not shift. One other thing I noticed is the page footer will not allow me to click the Dynamic Height. Anyone help on what I need to change?
