So wait a minute, is this the exact line of code:
PAUSE 3 USING 'Starting command file' using .vcuract where vcuract = name
of the command file.

This isn't a valid syntax. There are no parameters like that in a "pause"
command. Everything after " file' " is invalid

No rules. There are 4 computed columns but they were never a problem before.
Also, I just got the error while tracing a command file. Got it on the second
command line the file. The statement is "PAUSE 3 USING 'Starting command file'
using .vcuract where vcuract = name of the command file.

Do you have any rules or calculated field(s) in the table.

I have a one-table form with a scrolling region. When I edit using the form, I
have always been able to press F2 to add a new row. Now when I press F2, I am
getting the following: "-ERROR-Invalid use of ESCAPE character with LIKE
operator (716)". When I press OK, I get the error again. If I keep pressing
OK, an empty row is eventually added. I can't seem to trace the form. I only
have one eep in the form which is the entry or exit to four fields and it only
has the command "RECALC VARIABLES" in it. I would appreciate anyone's insight
in how can I stop this error or what might be causing it.

Thank you much,
