Karen: Try setting it to "1". I use this technique to unload data to a text file. I think it will accomplish your goal.
Sample code: SET NULL ' ' SET HEADINGS OFF SET WIDTH 2000 SET SELMARGIN 1 I use variables earlier in my program to capture the current settings so that I can set them back when the program completes its run.
