You might try replacing CHAR(13) with CHAR(10) or CHAR(13)+CHAR(10), but I get
separate lines in Excel (2013) with all three, so I'm not sure what your
problem is.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Excel Export

Hi,

I'd like to export a note column in an excel spreadsheet. The lines in the
column are separated by a (char(13)). When I export to Excel, I get a cell with
all the lines joined together (1 long line instead of several different lines).

I use the command below where description is the note column

SELECT
t2.fa_intitule,t4.titre,t3.ar_prixven,0,0,t4.description,t4.marque1,DISTINCT
t1.ar_ref,'En stock',' ',' ',' ',' ',1,' ' +

FROM f_artstock t1,f_famille t2,f_article t3,etiq_pres t4 +

WHERE t1.de_no IN (1,3,126,4,183,201,5) AND t1.as_qtesto > 0 AND t1.ar_ref =
t3.ar_ref AND t1.ar_ref = t4.codeart AND t3.fa_codefamille = t2.fa_codefamille
AND t1.ar_ref LIKE 'EHDIVT%'

Is the a way to export "description" so that the cell in excel show the lines
separated?

Thanks,

Philippe
