We are using 9.5 latest version. In the settings for printing, there is a choice for email settings where one puts the SMTP, port and authentication information. I enter that information and hit the test button and it states there is a connection. However when I print a report while in the explorer mode, and choose "print to file" then check the box "email after generate" no email is ever sent. Of course I fill in the email box with the proper to and from email addresses and it does create the pdf file.
I am able to email while in the application using the plugins and variable settings with no problem. However I would like to be able to send emails with reports attached "on the fly" so to speak. James Belisle Making Information Systems People Friendly Since 1990 [cid:[email protected]]
