Richard,

The upcoming R:CODE 2000 (ver 6.5++) will still be a separate Productivity
Tool
shipped with R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) along with the following bug-fixes and
enhancements:

R1. Bug Fix: If you started R:Code from the command line (such as from inside
R:Base itself) and included a command line argument specifying a
non-existent
file, R:CODE would produce a string of Run Time errors and quit. R:CODE
will
now create the file for you.

R2. The option Restore Last Directory at Startup has been added to the
Display | Configure R:CODE form. If checked, R:Code default to the last
directory that was open. If unchecked, R:Code will use whatever
directory
it was started from. If you use R:CODE as your default editor from inside
R:BASE 2000, it is suggested that you leave this box unchecked.

R3. The option Ask Before Creating Files has been added to the Display |
Configure R:CODE form. If checked, R:CODE will ask if you want to create
files it finds on it's command line that do not exist on disk. If
unchecked,
R:CODE will automatically create the file, as does RBEdit. Note that the
newly created file will not be saved to disk until you enter text and
choose
    to save it.

R4. The Windows HELP file to be shipped with R:CODE 2000 has also been
updated.

Among MANY TOOLS, The Magical R:BASE 7.0 will include the integrated R:CODE
and
R:STYLE!

If you would like to see the entire 7.0, then make sure to attend The 2001
R:BASE
Developers' Conference in October!

Stay tuned for more ...

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
