Mike,
Someone, possibly you or your client, has turned on
the option of SQL Trace using the ODBC Data Source
Administrator.
To turn the SQL.LOG off:
01. Start > Settings > Control Panel >
ODBC Data Sources (32bit)
02. Click on [Stop Tracing Now] Push Button
It should change to [Start Tracing Now]
03. Click on OK
If necessary, now you can delete \SQL.LOG file!
