>Is there a way to print in columns in a Rbase report or labels? <
No, not easy, although I do use this for things like charge lists. I think
you mean up and down like a telephone book. I found a routine in an old
rbase exchange and have been using it ever since. It works ok in dos but I
haven't tried it in windows - you would have to use a monospace font
probably. This routine creates variables and then places the 2 or 3
columns on one line. I will send you the code if you wish, and you can
modify it. It takes a little experimentation, but once you get it it's
good for YEARS.
I have put this request in RDCC, and wish others would ask for this feature
also. Maybe it can be placed in the next version or even a patch. I
suspect it would be a separate report section like header or footer --
maybe "snake section" <g> - for snaking columns (this I believe is the
term for this feature).
Let me know. I will at least look up the old exchange and see if I can
find the original code.
