Mike,
I think that you can use them for things like a popup of complicated
information that goes beyond the standard popup on a form (although I
currently base a lot of popups on views) - you might use it to further
filter information by being able to enter a date range. I suppose that
theoretically you could base an application on an MDI form and use it to
call the other parts of the application.
I am about to start converting a 4.5++ DOS application to RBWin and want to
completely redesign data input forms and reports so I will be lurking with
intent monitoring responses to your question.
