Found the problem with the SET ERR MES OFF command "mysteriously" being
turned back on. Kept playing with the Where clause to see what was causing
the ERR MES to go from OFF back to ON.
When I finally got down to just Edit Using Formname, and ERR MES went from
OFF back to ON, I realized it was the #%!## form itself.
In Table Settings, an EEP is executed After Leaving Section. And, of course
is:
SET ERR MES OFF; ...
Do something
SET ERR MES ON
Hope this may help someone else from wasting a couple of hours. Probably a
good idea to check what ERR MES was before returning it with a different
setting.
