Does anyone use SET FASTLOCK ON? Have you had any problems with it?
Am running DOS 6.5+ and I get a lot of garbage rows when I insert into a
table using the following with FASTLOCK ON
INSERT INTO InvtCount (Invt) SEL Invt FROM Invt
Invt is an INTEGER column. The table the data is being inserted into also
has an integer autonumber column plus 8 other columns
Inserted 1002 rows and about 1/2 where correct and the other half had most
of the columns in the row filled with garbage. The correct rows and garbage
rows seem to be are grouped together. (97 good rows, then 124 garbage rows,
then 134 good rows, then 129 garbage rows, etc. - not always the same counts
but you get the idea).
Data looks something like this

Everything works correctly if I SET FASTLOCK OFF.
