Just wanted to drop a note to those people who
responded to my inquiry on emailing from within R:base.
Thanks to all for their advise and
comments!
I opted to try "Auto Mailer" recommended by Nick
Avery. Wow! cool program... "exactly" what I was looking for!
This application sits in the background and polls
the specified folder every 30 secs for a user specified file.
Once found, it is emailed to an individual (or
group) as a file attachment.
Very simple program for what ideally is a very
simple task!
