Insert key on keyboard not functioning at R:

Hello everyone:

        I am using R:BASE 6.5++ just released.  Has anyone 
noticed that at the R: prompt when recalling a command and
hitting the "insert" key on the keyboard, the insert mode 
doesn't stay on?  Is this just a problem with my ghosted 
imaged of Windows98 or an R:BASE problem?
