Hi Ben,
Yes, Cookies are stored in another location and emptying the "temp" files
will still leave the cookies. you can either not accept cookies, be prompted
when a cookie is trying to be placed, or just let them put cookies on your
system. The Ad-Aware program will search for the bad cookies and other nasty
programs and clean them out, you'll be amazed at how many are on there the
first time you run it.

I have my internet options set to "empty the temporary internet files
folder" each time I close IE, are cookies and "spyware" placed
elsewhere also?
