Hi Bob,

I know this is going to sound strange, but when prompted by the odbc app try
putting the password on the username field and leave the password field
blank.

Subject: Passwords in ODBC connections

Hello everyone:

I have an R:BASE database ver 6.5++ that uses the
SQL security features of the database. Therefore, I have
an owner password on the database.

When I attempt to connect from another database to
the one with the SQL security I get an ODBC unable to
connect message even though I have given the ODBC link the
correct owner password.

        Anyone have any ideas?
