Reader's Digest Version:
I'm looking for advise on how to update a row that
exists on a form within a region
*after* a form-in-form is called up on that row to
change data.
Tolstoy's Vesion:
I have a form containing a one to many
relation.
The top of the form contains Family name and
address info.
The bottom of the form contains a region with each
child in the family.
I have an action button that invokes another
form allowing me to "edit"
the current highlighted childs data.
When I Exit and Save the Row, I am returned to the
original form
which does not reflect the changes that have been
made.
The only way I have found to do this is
to scroll (Next/Prev) through the
region until that record is re-read and updated on
the screen.
There's got to be an easier way...
(right?)
Let me know what you guys think!
Signed,
Nearly Bald
