I believe you are using the Windows version of R:BASE!

In that case, I recommend that you use the PAUSE command.

You may also want to look into:

. EEP Specific Commands

If you need to display "conditional variable(s)" in a
form, I would suggest to pre-define and place those
variable object(s) in form with colorful properties.
