You are correct. I am using version 1.839 for DOS and windows. I do not
recall were these releases patches or upgrades.

Thank you

Steve

Steve,

You are definitely not using the CURRENT version of R:BASE,
i.e. R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++), Build:1.842xRT03 or higher.

With the help of Harlan B. Haynie (Authorized R:BASE Developer),
who reported this very old and nasty bug on R:DCC, along with
supporting samples and step-by-step instructions to replicate
that bug was FIXED on June 6, 2001.

The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows and
The R:edoubtable R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for DOS, Build:1.842
were released on June 15, 2001, almost five months ago.

All Enhancements, New Commands and Bug-Fixes included in 6.5++ are
very clearly documented in RBW65PP.TXT (shipped with the product)
and online at http://www.rbase.com/rbw65pp

Enjoy the hard work of our R:Team and the countless efforts of
dedicated R:BASE Developers/Users to bring the BEST of R:BASE!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.

P.S. The upcoming inline patch-1 for 6.5++ (.. almost ver 6.6 ..),
     currently under beta, includes even more enhancements, new
     commands and very old bug fixes.
