I believe it's Uniform Naming Convention in a lot of circles.. It
means instead of having a path/drive predefined as K:\databases\mydb.rb1
and K would have to be mapped on a machine, you could use
"\\server1\databases\mydb.rb1" in calls etc... This seems to be the
way things are going since it's becoming a WEB based world.
