I think I found the problem which was with the "Set Curr $ Pref . . ." command.  I discovered this setting in the database had a space, i.e. '  $' and affected the operation of the (Dwrd(arg)) function.  When I corrected the "Set Curr" setting or removed the space that function started working.again   Thanks for your help.  I hope this solution is permanent for me.   Thanks again.   Ben Strickland ----- Original Message ----- From: MikeB To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, December 17, 2001 4:49 PM Subject: Re: A strange problem with the (dwrd(arg)) function.
