Also the cd has a newer odbc driver and some other goodie that you don't get
on the download. I found out after I got the download!!

Dear Ben;

That is correct. If you have the Runtime version of 6.5 or 6.5+, the
upgrade price is $695.00 for the Runtime, and $129.00 for the R:BASE
upgrade.

The download is ONLY the upgrade files, and is based on your original
installation. The CD contains a newly designed installer that is better
suited to the newer Windows operating systems. Therefore, we
recommend doing a "clean" install with the new 6.5++ installer. It is
well worth the extra $20.00!

As far as any other upgrade between 6.5++ and the 7.0, I am unable
to answer that question, as Razzak is out of town at this moment.

For the record, RBTI's policy has been very reasonable towards the
cost of upgrading and keeping your R:BASE software up-to-date.
