After replacing two ailing 16 Bit NE2000 compatible NICs with Kingston KNE120 TX 10/100 NIC (Server already had 10/100 integrated on MBoard), 5MB file that took 9plus minutes took 24 secs. Then after replacing 10baseT MaxTech hub with LinkSys 10/100 Switch, between 1 & 2 secs.
