An old trick is to ensure that the first two entries in your DOS PATH= statement are .;..;
This works for multiple versions if you always put the data directories as a subdirectory of the program directory: C:\RBTI\RBDOS65\COMPANY1 C:\RBTI\RBDOS65\COMPANY2 C:\RBTI\RBDOS61\COMPANY3 C:\RBTI\RBDOS61\COMPANY4 etc. Bill Downall will recall using this trick in the days of short DOS path strings. He's (almost) as old as I am.
