A similar thing just happened at one of my clients.  Usually, one user has
one or more of the database files "open" and they can just close those files
for the user via the network.  In this case, no one had the files open so
they rebooted the server and that cleared the lock.

However, I was able to copy the four files to a new name without problem
prior to the reboot and could have run the database under the new name in a
pinch until the file lock was cleared.  So you might try just a simple file
copy.
