Rich, Look into Pegasus as an eMail client for the machine doing the sending. It allows programatic creation of eMail and attachments from simple ascii files. The list to be sent to may also be an ascii files, letting Pegasus manage the eMail creation. (So three files to get the job done, if memory serves -- eMail text, attachment file, and send-to-list). You can find it at download.com, it's freeware.
