Windows 2000 Server will encrpyt the data packets. Right click on the
folder. Under General you will see an Advanced button. Click on it and you
will see encrpyt data check box. I have not tried it yet but it should do
what you want. I believe there might be some issues.

Also Windows 2000 Server can use IPSec.

For reasons only known to regulators we have been asked to encrypt our
database because we handle confidential information.

Does anyone have any experience in doing this or in creating a secure
environment for an Rbase database.
