Alastair, Could you try the same scenario using CONCOMP database and see what happens? Example: CONNECT CONCOMP EDIT USING Employee WHERE EmpCity = 'Seattle' . Keep pressing [F8] key and you should see at least five records! Now, try the same using: BROWSE USING Employee WHERE EmpCity = 'Seattle' . Keep pressing [F8] key and you should see at least five records! Let us know.
