Albert,
You need to check if there is anything else in the db
directory.
A few suggestions:
01. At the DOS prompt, type PATH and make sure that
C:\RBTI\RBDOS65 is the_first_directory in sequence.
02. Go to the root (e.g. C:\) of your drive and type
RBASE65 -R -C and see what happens.
03. Do everything like you mentioned above and see what
happens.
04. Check the contents of db directory and make sure
that there is no RBASE.DAT file looking somewhere
else.
05. Check the contents of db directory and make sure
there are no older message (.MSG) files or RBASE.CFG
file, etc.
