Doug, I replicated what you've observed, then I tried to create a mask, [999.00]. It didn't work, as it appears that FORMAT MASKS are only applicable to TEXT types. I don't have an immediate work-around, but it might require the use of VAR's, Conversion Functions, or possible changing the Type to NUMERIC ...
