Dennis:

If you want a Windows look and feel right now, take a look at using VB as
your front end.

You can use the RBase ODBC driver or Oterro as your back end.

I didn't realize there was a way to capture the
mouseclick and trigger an event based on what region
was clicked. Has anyone done this before?

I am new to rbase and am impressed at what a powerful
development tool it is but the interface design
features are utterly archaic. Unfortunately, the app
I am working on is solid in the background but needs a
user interface overhaul. Our clients thought our
windows version was still in dos! Coming from a web
design background, rbase is a frustrating experience.
Clients are demanding more "look and feel", i.e.
rollover buttons, complex graphical screens and menus,
etc. that are a piece of cake in web or VB apps.

I can't wait to see v7 at the conference to see if
these issues are addressed.
