Paul - Try a batch file like this:
PATH=C:\RBTI\RBFILES;%PATH% D: CD \clients RBASE This puts the R:BASE program files at the front of the search path, then changes to the database folder, and starts R:BASE from there. Be sure to use the NET USE statement to capture the LPT port so your printer will work too. Here's a sample: NET USE LPT1 \\WORKSTATION1\HPDeskJet970 Sami ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2002 6:44 AM Subject: RBase on NT Workstation Problem > > Also, what is the best way to run an RBase startup batch file under NT? > > Thanks. > > Paul Hill > ================================================ > TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: > Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l > ================================================ > TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l > ================================================ > TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: > http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/ > > > ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/
