G'day Steve, The direct insert into the browser is problematic, I have experienced similar and worse.
Try this, from the R> type: RBE t1 In the editor type: SET MESSAGES ON SET ERROR MESSAGES ON EDIT * FROM TableName Exit and save the changes. From the R> type: TRACE t1 See if you get an error message about not being able to save\insert the row due to a constraint\rule violation. Good luck!
