This happened with just one client database.  I tried to replicate the
problem using the CONCOMP database, but cannot.  That is why I am asking if
anyone else has encountered this same problem, or may have an idea what may
fix it.  

To check your upgraded DOS database, enter the command 
LIST SYS_PROC% at the R> prompt and see if the 3 tables are 
grayed out, as in my case.
