Mike, I was working with a very large database on Windows 2000 and must say that I experienced the same thing. The same exact message was blue screened to me and it was very frustrating. The only way that I was able to prevent it was to unload unused tables via backups and then to do packs. You can tell when it is working by looking at the size of your .RB? files. When I did that, I would sprinkle holy water and go, the blue screens went away. But, it is a memory release problem associated with size and frequency of access. Phil
