Hello All, I have a table called Person with the PK key of PersonNo which is an autonumber column and various other columns, a table called Company with the PK of CompanyNo which is also an autonumber column and various other columns and a table called PerCoNo (Person Company Number) with the following columns PerCoNo is PK and autonumbered, PersonNo, CompanyNo.
When I insert either to the Person table or the Company table an insert trigger fires which selects the PK from the Person or Company table and inserts it into the PerCoNo table which auto assigns a PerCoNo. There is a Not Null constraint on the LastName column in the Person table. My question is this: If I am processing data with a cursor while loop and an insert into the Person table fails because there is no LastName will the trigger fire and insert the PK value into the percono table?
