To ALL R:BASE 7.0 for Windows Beta Testers:

Tip of The Day: Using LookAhead Calculations (Report Designer)

Using The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows Report Designer, LookAhead
calculations allow you to display the result from a DBCalc or Variable
component, earlier in the report than is normally possible.

For example, totals which are calculated for the entire report, normally
display in the Report Footer band. With the new LookAhead property, you
can place those same totals in the title band. It is simply a matter of
placing
a DBCalc or Variable in the title band, and setting the LookAhead property to
True. Similarly, calculations can be displayed in the header band, the group
header band and the column header band.

Note: In order to function properly, the LookAhead property requires that
the Report Pass Setting property be set to Two Pass. Therefore, when you
set the LookAhead property to True - the Report Pass Setting property is
automatically set to two pass.

Have Fun Playing with The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
