Hi Dave,

You can build query, pull data, format Excel worksheet automatically, and 
save it as  �XSL file.

You can build a query directly from Excel. You should have Oterro and system 
ODBC or R:Base ODBC driver in single mode.

In Excel
Go to the tool bar Data/Get External Data/New Database Query.
Then you should save it.
Go to the macros and choose Start Recording.
Data/Get External Data/Run Saved Query � The query will pull the data.
Stop Recording
Save as template � Name.xlt
Excel will ask to save the template without data � Yes.

When you double click on the Name.xlt from Windows Explorer the template 
makes the connection, pulls the data from any R:Base view,
and formats the sheets.
