From The Edge: Using Data Tree and Object Tree in Report Designer
Section: Report Designer
Chapter: Running R:BASE Your Way!
Platform: R:BASE 7.0 for Windows
Build: 1.855xRT03 and Higher

The Data Tree is a dockable window accessible by right-clicking over
the open Toolbar area of R:BASE 7.0 for Windows Report Designer
and selecting the 'Data Tree' option or selecting View | Toolbar option.

The Data Tree window shows the associated table/view and columns
accessible by the report. Once a report table/view is selected in this
outline, all of the columns in table/view are shown in the list at bottom
of this window. You can select column(s) from this list and drag them
into the report. A report component corresponding to the field will be
created automatically.

The Object Tree is a dockable window accessible by right-clicking
over the open toolbar area of R:BASE 7.0 for Windows Report Designer
and selecting the 'Object Tree' option.

The Object Tree window shows the structure of the report. Once a report
is selected in this outline, all of the objects in each section of the report
such as Report Header, Page Header, Detail, Break Header(s), Break
Footers(s), Page Footer and Report Footer are shown in the outline at
bottom of this window. You can use this outline to select report objects
and configure them. You can also use this window to control the layering
(Send to Back/Bring to Front) order of the objects in each section of the
report. The object which is listed first is the bottom layer, the object
which is listed last is the top layer.
