SET VAR vDateText = ('CSD1INVOICE_' + FORMAT(.#DATE,'MMDDYY') + '.DAT')
(set the date string order to what the receiving application requirements are. If I
had written the receiving app it would be 'YYYYMMDD', but we Canadians are always a
bit gun shy on date formats. Governmental formats are usually DDMMYY up here, but then
we have companies headquartered down there in the Excited States MMDDYY, etc.)
The least ambiguous I know of is NATO ddMMMyy - today is '05 Sep 02' - in strictly
number format you get 05/09/02 which is ambiguous.
Tirade over. You can rest easy now.
