Win2000 OS, Rbase for Windows, 1.851xRT03.

Have been using some pre-defined gateway export commands over past 8
years or so, but have seen same error message only with combination of
Rbase Windows 6.5++ and Win2000 OS running. Get through select
statement, "Import / Export Progress - Initializing", then the error:
"There is insufficient disk space on either the target drive or the
temporary file drive. The operation may fail...."

Usually I select "continue" twice, then the program exports the rows,
however, sometimes not all the rows are exported (when checked against
select statement at r prompt).

The path is correct, environment variables files/buffers set to 60,
files have been also checked at 90, to no avail, path statement begins
with rbase executables location, etc... Files in R:base have been
changed between 5 (default) and 50 in various increments, yet get same
error message. Am exporting to XLS4 format, find no difference in using
other file types.

So, what am I missing, anyone, please?!

Thanks so much for any advice here.
