I have run into the same problem and I believe that (at least in my case) the problem is caused by calling code that has been code-locked. When I use the code that has not been code-locked, the application runs fine, when I switch to code that has been code-locked, I get the same error as you. One more thing, in many cases, the error does not show up until I try to execute the code for the second time. I you are using code-locked code try changing it back to its (ASCII/text) format and see if you still get the error.
