Yes you can, but the syntax requires the list of columns select, 
followed by a single INTO clause:

SELECT SUM (outwt), SUM (inwt) +
  INTO vOutwt IND vin_1, vInWt INT vout_2 +
  FROM impraw +
  WHERE trial = '28692' and plutnum = 309
