I found a neat(and inexpensive) program that you can easily develop palm
applications and sync with different data formats including text and excel
format.

It is called Appfactory by Wasp Technologies. It cost about $129.00 US.

You can write a routine to import from the text or excel format which would
import the data that you collected.

Subject: Palm Handheld Data and R:Base

Has anybody collected data on a handheld, say a Palm, and then synced it
into R:Base? If so, what software was used on the handheld and how was
the data moved into R:Base?
