a form based on Parts table. If I enter a part no. in this form I want the rest of the fields to be populated with the data in that row.
when I do: Edit using parts the first row appears, if I change the part no. the rest of the fields stay the same as the first row. a lookup such as partdesc=partdesc in parts where partno=.pno doesn't work. Actually, I want to bring up the form with all fields blank, enter a part no. and populate the form with that row. Then I would like to use the forward and back arrows to change rows. If I first ask for the part no then Edit using parts where partno = it works. But then if I want to see another part, I have to exit the form, key in the part no. and reload the form.
