In an old rbase manual (4.5 dos) I found on page 6-61 "Same table lookup". It says to set one expression such as company=company in customer where custid=custid Then use enter formname instead of edit, enter the customer ID and all fields will be populated with the data in that row.
So I did it for my parts lookup and it did indeed bring up all the fields in that row. BUT -- if I go back into the part no. field, and enter a different part no., it doesn't bring up the new row data, the previous row data remains on the form. Is this the way it's supposed to work?
