Without seeing an example of how the code is used in your app, I'd 
say to make sure that the code is enclosed in quotes if used in a 
comparison.

In variable form it could be done as:

Set v vCode = (char(39)+.vCode+.char(39))
Sel Stuff from YourTable Whe Code = .vCode
