Bill,
Thanks for the clarification, it's about time I updated my thinking! I
still turn my computer off every night, but I've read of folks who never
turn theirs off. I guess I'm old school with hard-to-break habits.

Claudine

How ya doin ? <I',m from New York, couldja tell ?>

The older versions of Windows - Win3.1,Win95 and Win98 used to be of the
velcro type and had to be cold-booted in some cases. A warm boot
wouldn't
always solve the problem necessitating a cold start.

I have yet to see any memory problems that Win200 Profesional or XP
could
not correct with a warm boot. So far I've yet to cold boot aWin200 or XP
computer to correct a memory problem.

Just curious. Do y'all (remember, I'm in Texas <g>) turn off your PCs
or simply leave them running and do warm boots when you encounter
problems? A computer hardware guy once told me that there are gremlins
lurking in memory with velcro feet and you need to cold boot to get them
to let go... ~Claudine :)

Neither do I!

Do the PgDn and PgUp keys work properly?

These intermittent issues are the worst.

I would suggest sending a sample to RBTI and see if they can replicate
it.
File it as a bug first at the developer's corner, then send the sample
to
back it up.
