G'day all,
Have recently purchased a new notebook with XP Pro
installed and have downloaded and installed SP1. Have 4.5++ and 6.5++
to install.
With 4.5++ I copied the config.nt & autoexec.nt
to the rbfiles directory (program directory) and renamed them config.rmd &
autoexec.rmd and made changes to reflect those on the old Win98SE computer that
is being retired and included them in the Properties-Program-Advanced
area. When I click on the icon I get an insufficient memory to run RBase
in protected mode message and the application terminates. Obviously I have
made a complete stuff-up of the settings and would greatly appreciate any
pointers on what settings should be used.
While I have not even tried to install 6.5++ on the
computer should I wait until Dr R> arrives in Australia in a couple of weeks
for the 7.0 seminars or is it worth trying to install?
Am pleased that I recently had a haircut so I
cannot get hold of any to tear it out (which is why I keep it
short).
Regards
